Members focus on life stage challenges such as career or relationship issues as well as exploring gender identity and sexual orientation/preferences. We meet virtually (for now) from 5 pm-6:30 pm on Wednesdays. This is a great way for members to work on their social anxiety and interpersonal skills in a safe, inclusive environment.

This group offers a safe and healing environment for queer women experiencing life changes in personal and work relationships. During this time of multiple pandemics this small group helps to combat isolation and alienation especially among marginalized folks. We offer emotional support, constructive feedback and tips to improve communication with others.

Currently I am consulting with national addiction treatment programs regarding LGBTQ+ issues. I serve on a panel of health care providers for the George Washington University LGBTQ+ Graduate Certificate Program. Also, I am a small group leader for other mental health group leaders for the local chapter of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA). I am an active member of the GLBTQ+ Special Interest group of the AGPA. I have conducted trainings for mental health providers and the general public on the following issues:
